How India missed a great cricketer !!!!

Reposting !!!! ..
This is a story about a small boy, some 12 years old (7th standard) who is really really crazy about cricket. His only ambition was to grow up as a cricketer and nothing else. He wanted to join a cricket academy and his parents waved off the green signal. Here comes the twist in the plot. The quarterly exams were over and his marksheets came. Sadly, he got failed in mathematics by jus a mark (34/100) (Though he got failed in many others, why is mathematics being highlighted in this story??? .. Read the next line !!! )... Yeah ... as you can expect ... he got terrlibly beaten up by his mom (who is a Master's Deg holder in Mathematics) ... His mom said a biiiig NOOOOOOOO to cricket ...The boy could then play only Gully cricket which he stopped when he reached the stupid 11th standard ... 11 th standard as people knew, is a nightmare for many kids (atleast kids in TN) and obviously to this boy also .. an example for an education system which is "Total Crap" ... He then stopped playing cricket which haunted him for years (still haunting ... infact he has cried many nights for not achieving "What HE DREAMT !!!!" ) until he went on to become an engineer (surpisingly) with only 3 arrears .... And can you beleive it ... he even got a job, worked (which is again a crap , good for nothing work) for an year and did his Master's in Engineering (Seems like in a Rajnikanth movie were he would become rich before the song completes) ... It all happens in life !!!!! .. So people , from this sad stroy, my sincere advice ... PLS DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO !!!! ... and the boy is, Ladies and Gentlemen with a standing ovation, welcome again Mr. Arvind Sekar to this vetti world of blogging !!!!....

  4. Life is all about mundane things...or day to day routine activities....its not always requires u to perform heroic acts to become hero....but its rather brave tht u r doin well in a field other than of ur prime interest....so u r a "HERO"

  5. @raghu : I partially agree with you. I might or might not be doing well in my field. Its always good if someone is doing well, but if it is the otherwise, then the passion would haunt more ...
