The one with many diagreements

This blog is about a sensitive issue and I do not have much expertise to talk about it but then, this is my blog and I can write whatever I feel like. Here it goes ...

It is about one of the most influential artifact and it is called "Religion". Many would disagree whether this is a fact or an artifact. Man has created many facts and convinced himself about several truths like the evolution of the universe and the like. But with "Religion", he has not only convinced himself but made it dominate humans. Don't think I am an aethist speaking about the non-existence of God. I am just against the so called religion and its beliefs. On the other part some of these beliefs have made man more ethical and constarint with principles. Otherwise he would have been just another animal. With religion he has just promoted himself as a social animal. In our daily lives, we see many such beliefs and religious procedures being carried out, but most of these are done so that people feel good about themselves. But it all lies in what you do for other people, how you treat nature which has given birth to the first human. It does not depend on wasting flowers, milk and other food on merely a statue. Am not targeting a religion, but its true with all other religions also. Give it to people who really need them and you can find someone adorable in yourself.

Humans can now become a social animal without the so-called "religion" !!!!

Toughest job in India

It is one of the toughest job in India. Can anyone guess ??.. Is it being a doctor, an engineer, a politician .... NOO.. It is being captain of the Indian cricket team. The defending champions were thrown out the T20 World Cup yesterday by the not so very good England. 153 to chase, India which had terrific batting line-up failed to make it although they inched closer to the target. I was watching TV in a public place this morning and the channel was CNN-IBN. Dhoni's pic zooming in and out at different angles to show that he has failed. Rediculous !!!.. Also Dhoni's pic alongside Sehwag's stating the clash between them. God knows the truth and the media completely scrwed it up making "captain cool" cold during the press meet.

Why can't people accept defeat. Team India is no supernatural to win all games they play. The former "so called" cricketing giants like Javagal Srinath criticised Dhoni's tactics while chasing. He dont know what the hell is T20 cricket and speaks asif he has achived something significant in T20. If Dhoni's startegy such as sending in Jadeja at number 4 had worked, then all the critics would have appreciated it. Cricket is just another profession. Failures are always likely. Pointing out Dhoni alone is not the correct thing. With media hyping up this issue, Dhoni has even apologised for the fans' disappointment. He should nt have apologised. Experimenting in cricket should definitely be done. I am not supporting Dhoni but would have supported anyone in his place. He has been a better captain achiveing some unimaginable feats. Every cricket fan should give him time to rethink and regroup.

Hence, captaining this Indian cricket team has its own cons and so I feel it is one of the toughest jobs in India.

Conquered Clay .. at last !!!!!

It was a sunday evening and it does not get better than watching a grand slam final. At one end, the expected Fedex and in the other end the unexpected Soderling. Though I did not see the full match, I jus got to see glimpse of it. Roger thrashed apart his opponent in straight sets and a French Open final could not end in this way.
It should have been Rafa on the other end.
It should have been a five setter.
It should have been tie breakers through out.
It should have ended with 13-11 in the fifth set. Never matter who wins.. Expecting a final of this sort is obvious.

But its all over. Fedex have done it. 14 GS to his name and still going great guns. He has proved that he s the master of the trade anywhere. But never forget Rafa. He will be back hard for Wimbledon. Lets hope to see an intense battle between these two in Wimbledon final.

Yes.. He's not a magician !!!!

Our national game, which is not cricket but hockey has made some heads turning towards it after winning the Azlan Shah cup after nearly 14 long years. Hockey which is always overpowered by cricket in India has lost its importance after their dismal show in Olympic qualifiers. Gaining momentum these days, the Indian Hockey has appointed a new coach, Jose Brasa who is a spaniard. First foreign coach !!!! (forgive me if i am wrong). This sounds good, since teams like spain, netherlands etc have gone a level up in hockey and we, the founders of the game are yet to prove something due to the lack of expertise and technology. Brasa has said that "He's not a magician" and he can give results slowly. I truly agree with that since a coach from a different country will find it difficult to get in sync with the team mainly due to the language barrier.Overall, this new move has been refreshing and will do good to Indian Hockey. Hope the hockey team goes up from here, get back to the winning ways and earn the gold in next olympics.

It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right !!!

A song which is one of my favorite not because of its euphony but the meaning which really makes us think. It is "Time of your life" from Green Day. The best lines were,

"Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go
So make the best of this test, and don't ask why
It's not a question, but a lesson learned in time"

Definitely its time which influences your decision apart from your attitute, passion and whatever.
Its time which makes you decide something which you think you would never render in life.
Its time which tests you giving us varied situations and makes us pass varied people with a spectrum of characters.

So its all about expecting minimum out of the world and time will take care of the rest.
It definitely will be a lesson learned in time and in the end its right.....

Senseless Timeout !!!!

The T20 version of the crazy game is infact not accepted by many and ofcourse even I am not fully for it. T20 is introduced definitely to improve the commercial of the game. It has reduced the original charm of Test Cricket. People started moving towards the T20 from the original version and the oldest version of the game, the TEST CRICKET only because they are entertained more. But entertainment is not the only thing about cricket. True fans think in a different way. To add to that, IPL has announced a new rule called "time out" which is completely alien to the game. A time out of about 7.5 mins after every 10 overs of which two 2.5 mins will be commercials and remaining 2.5 mins to show team drinks and their tactics, startegy discussion. Why do we need to know what they talk?. The strategy will be surely reflected when they play. And who knows they dont even show what they talk and they ll only broadcast the useless cheerleaders dancing to hinder men from changing the channel. It is undisputedly driven to meet commercial objectives. Is it a basketball game where time-out is much more prelevant and where players get exhausted unlike games like cricket. Cricket surely has gone beyond control. People are changing the face of the game and its values are depleting.

3 mistakes of my life !!!

I recently completed reading a book called "the 3 mistakes of my life" by Chetan Bhagat, author of the famous "Five point someone". And fortunately the last 3 books (including this) I read, belong to Indian fiction genre. Out of the three, one was "Malgudi Days - Swami and his Friends" by RK Narayan. I am totally attracted towards Indian fiction since the feel was more real, and ofcourse more "Indian". I strongly felt that the two books does not fit under fiction genre since the reality was truly prominent in these books. Coming back to "the 3 mistakes of my life", the primary reason why I liked the book is that the story revolves around cricket and I was able to closely relate myself to one of the character. As I read through the book, I started digging my past to know what were the 3 major mistakes I have done in my life. Suprisingly, I was not able to recollect any and whichever I thought was the mistake, it wasnt a major blunder. I felt that life has treated me in a better way though not in the best way. The 3 mistakes or rather 3 important decisions that made my life different from what it could have been are,

1). Passion v/s Parents
2). Friends v/s Studies
3). India v/s Abroad

Though these decisions do not have any negative impact on my life, I felt that these were quite important when I look back.
